Hello, Why do you consider this package unusable? I'm testing it and it seems to work fine.
Please notice that the directory that you mention is not needed in the actual version, and I believe it's a bug: the directory should not be in the package. In Debian, the python modules are now managed by the python-support package, you can see the python files of this particular package in /usr/share/python-support/gnome-osd, and the compiled version of those in /var/lib/python-support/python2.4. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
