Package: pius Version: 3.0.0-5 Severity: grave I've been trying to use pius to sign things, and it's completely failing me:
anarcat@angela:~$ pius -s BBB6CD4C98D74E1358A752A602293A6FA4E53473 D477040C70C2156A5C298549BB7E9101495E6BF7 Welcome to PIUS, the PGP Individual UID Signer. Usage: pius [options] -s <signer_keyid> <keyid> [<keyid> ...] pius [options] -A -r <keyring_path> -s <signer_keyid> pius: error: GnuPG binary not found at /usr/bin/gpg2. gpg2 hasn't been around for a long time. but maybe we can work around this with: anarcat@angela:~[2]$ pius -b /usr/bin/gpg -s BBB6CD4C98D74E1358A752A602293A6FA4E53473 D477040C70C2156A5C298549BB7E9101495E6BF7 Welcome to PIUS, the PGP Individual UID Signer. Usage: pius [options] -s <signer_keyid> <keyid> [<keyid> ...] pius [options] -A -r <keyring_path> -s <signer_keyid> pius: error: Keyring /home/anarcat/.gnupg/pubring.gpg doesn't exist Nope! That doesn't work either! I have not dared to use the --keyring argument to correct `.gnupg/pubring.kbx` keyring, for fear of corruption, but clearly something is wrong here. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.4 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable'), (1, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages pius depends on: ii gnupg 2.2.40-1.1 ii python3 3.11.2-1+b1 pius recommends no packages. pius suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
