Honest, what's the serious (aka policy violation) of such a thing? But for break quite a good number of programs if implemented, of course. We are not obliged to retain inter-distro compatibility and gratuitously changing the soname of the library. Also I do not see any link among the bugs you pointed. Maybe a typo??? -- Francesco P.
