Package: cytadela Version: 1.1.0-4+b1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 2.2.2.
Hi, I'm currently reviewing all the games in contrib & non-free to see wether game-data-packager can help to make them easier to install. I'm surprised that cytadela is in contrib but doesn't try to download anything and works from the go. It should be either in "main" or in "non-free", that just does not makes sense. After digging out, I see that the graphical sprites included upstream are a rip of from the original Amiga rom. https://www.myabandonware.com/game/citadel-7ki https://sourceforge.net/projects/cytadela/ https://sources.debian.org/src/cytadela/1.1.0-4/data/obj/ If this data-extraction were scriptable, this engine would have to be stripped of the files in data/obj/ and would then indeed perfectly fit in "contrib". The game being mostly unmaintained I have little hope. In the current state I think this package is unfit for inclusion in Debian and should be removed.
