Hi,

the package fails to install on my system. I simply assumes that /boot/firmware
is a
mount point and fails if this is not the case. If /boot/firmware is expected to
be a
mount point the installer should have created it. The system was once installed
as
bullseye and later upgraded to bookworm.

What exactly is your system? What is that rpt suffix?

It is an raspi3, not sure if that is the needed information, here comes the apt-cache policy

hille@rasppi1:~ $ apt-cache policy raspi-firmware
raspi-firmware:
  Installed: 1:1.20231024+ds-1+rpt1
  Candidate: 1:1.20231024+ds-1+rpt1
  Version table:
 *** 1:1.20231024+ds-1+rpt1 500
500 http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian bookworm/main arm64 Packages 500 http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian bookworm/main armhf Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1.20220830+ds-1 500
500 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm/non-free-firmware arm64 Packages 500 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm/non-free-firmware armhf Packages

Does that help you anyhow?
