Hello,

Upstream in fact is doing something with alicq. This year I had some
problem
with a new ICQ Version and Alicq, and the developer provided a fix.

However I switched to using Jabber/Tkabber to solve my specific IM need
then, because weeks after the fix, another problem with the ICQ protocol
surfaced and I was not anymore interested in haunting down permanently
propietary protocol changes.

For my part it´s ok to abandon the package. If somebody develops interest
one day, I´m sure the package will eventually rise from death again.

Best Regards,

   Jorge-León
