Package: yaru-theme-gnome-shell
Version: 23.04.4-1
Severity: serious
Yaru 23.04 was designed for GNOME Shell 44 but Debian still only has
GNOME Shell 43. This makes the theme broken for users of Debian
Testing and Unstable currently.
How can we coordinate this better in the future?
It's potentially especially challenging every 2 years when Debian
freezes and the GNOME team delays switching to the new GNOME until the
Debian Stable .1 release.
Even the non-GNOME Shell parts might have been broken too but the new
gtk4 and libadwaita landed in Testing last week so it's at least not
broken any more.
Thank you,
Jeremy BĂcha
