Thanks for these status reports, they are helpful. No, I did not trace the dependency tree to try second-guess *why* the package got broken. What I generally do is a) double-check that indeed the package it completely impossible to install, then b) silently curse the Rust team for flagging all autopkgtests as "skip-not-installable" so that this class of bugs require manual reporting, then c) check if the package is already lingering in NEW, and finally d) file a bugreport. Sometimes I skip c), partly out of frustration as per b), and partly because the bug is still a bug when in the process of getting fixed.
