Package: python3-prelude
Version: 5.2.0-4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Installing python3-prelude on a fresh bullseye, then importing
"prelude" in the python3 interpreter
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I tried to use python3-prelude from unstable with no luck
* What was the outcome of this action?
Importing generates :
:~# python3
Python 3.9.2 (default, Feb 28 2021, 17:03:44)
[GCC 10.2.1 20210110] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import prelude
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/prelude.py", line 15, in <module>
from _prelude import *
ImportError:
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/_prelude.cpython-39-x86_64-linux-gnu.so:
undefined symbol: PyIOBase_Type
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I expected it to load prelude. It seems to also affect prewikka which
does this import (my first problem was related to prewikka, I digged it
to python3-prelude)
Cheers
François Lesueur
