Package: libtowitoko2
Version: 2.0.7-9
Severity: grave
/etc/reader.conf.d/libtowitoko2 should not contain a DEVICENAME line as
this driver does not support opening readers by device name, but the
presence of the line in the config file triggers a bug in pcscd that always
causes /dev/ttyS0 to be opened when a DEVICENAME line is present, no matter
what else is configured.
Instead, it should be documented that "normal" serial devices start at
CHANNELID 1 for /dev/ttyS0 and USB devices start at 0x200000 for
/dev/ttyUSB0, and possibly the automatically generated
/etc/reader.conf.d/libtowitoko2 should be removed completely (or made into
a conffile), so as to not break a working manual configuration on each
update/reinstall, given that the debconf options don't support every
possible setup.
