Unfortunately this issue cannot be reproduced on the s390x porterbox where
these tests succeed.
The tests may be flaky or the buildd host makes the difference.
The first two builds on zani failed due to these time_test failures, the
build on zandonai succeeded.
The attached patch works around the issue by skipping these tests on s390x.
Applying this patch is still a good idea to not need so many give-backs
for a successful build.
