Package: nepenthes Severity: serious Justification: no longer builds from source
I am backporting 1.7 to sarge, and the build failed because y.tab.c was absent. It appears that dpkg-buildpackage erases y.tab.c at some point during the build process since it is present in the pristine source repository. I encountered this problem by running dpkg-buildpackage, then running it again after I had corrected the problems in the environment that caused it to fail the first time. Then, to test my understanding of the situation, I got a new source repository, ran dpkg-buildpackage once, which successfully built the package, then ran it again, at which point it failed due to lack of y.tab.c. Perhaps make clean or something similar removes y.tab.c? Thanks a bunch! Also, I'm not sure if this is really a FTBFS issue, I'm hoping someone will re-categorize this bug if not. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-3-386 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
