Hi Sebastian, As you can see, the packages doesn't ship any byte-compiled modules. Thay're instead placed in /usr/share/python-support/istanbul and compiled at install time by python-support. I really think that this is a non-bug; I've also talked with other developers and they agree with me:
<buxy> kaeso: right, this bug looks wrong <buxy> files are in /usr/share/python-support and will be byte-compiled as required for python2.4 when it will be available <kaeso> buxy: so is it a non-bug? <buxy> kaeso: I think so <buxy> kaeso: close the bug explaining that the packages uses python-support appropriately and that it doesn't provide files in site-packages and close it Then I will close it in four days, to let you the time to reply. > Bye Cheers, Luca -- .''`. ** Debian GNU/Linux ** | Luca Bruno : :' : The Universal O.S. | luca.br(AT)uno.it `. `'` | GPG Key ID: 3BFB9FB3 `- http://www.debian.org | Proud Debian GNU/Linux User
