The problem with waiting until shortly before the freeze to update a package to use wxwidgets3.2 is that we get very little time to address any problems that crop up from the transition, so it's really much better to update earlier - in this case to r13000. If upstream make a release before the freeze it should be an easy update from r13000 to that; if they don't then we release with r13000, which is better than 20.03 anyway. Cheers, Olly
