Just as a note, with Vincent's help, I've commited two patches to the stable branch, updating to the most recent GPGME autoconf files and adjusting AM_PATH_GPG_ERROR before AM_PATH_GPGME: I will try to get a Mutt release out later this week with these two commits, but if you need the fix sooner, please grab the above patches.
