This is indeed as far as I can see a violation of Sun's license to do, it's 
however
a bug in jikes-sun: jikes-sun is the package combining technology in a
way that's not allowed by the license of one of the used packages. This
was already a problem before the DLJ, also the old Sun Java license
didn't allow to do so.

Cloning and reassigning for this -- please ensure in your reply that you
reply to the cloned bug, not the original.
