Something significant seems to have changed in version 3.5.2-2 of this
package, as it now breaks the spyder 5.3.1+dfsg-1 autopkgtests: see

The tests passed with version 1.8.1-6.

It's not scipy, it's the python3-defaults transition. python3.9 is
being dropped as a supported python version.
