Just wanted to put in some lines about this... I've successfully installed 'this' package (actually a recompile for my semi-woody) and it works 'just fine'.
I run only IPv4, my nsswitch.conf say 'files ldap', not 'compat ldap'. Oh, and as said, it's on a semi-woody (all LDAPv3 stuff, Cyrus SASL, MIT Kerberos V, OpenAFS 1.4, OpenLDAP 2.2, lib{nss,pam}-{ldap,krb,openafs} etc) come from sid/testing, all other packages are from woody. The only change to the package to get it compiling on my semi-woody was to lower the build depends on debhelper (from 4.1.13 to 4.0.2). Although this won't help much for those running sid/testing with this package, I CAN say that there's nothing wrong with the _software_ in the package... That not saying there isn't something wrong with the _package_ (linking problems, compile problems etc?)... -- Ortega Ft.
