I guess you have more than enough reporters of this bug now, but this package also rendered my system totally in the dark. Most services died when restarted, and users can't logon. Moving "ldap" behind "compat" in nsswitch.conf made some apps more happy, but still no joy. Had to downgrade to 238-1.2 to be able to login locally... (And make all services work...)
