Package: netsend Severity: serious Justification: RoQA Dear Maintainer,
netsend is de-facto unmaintained as simce 2009 only NMU happened. Upstream disappeared, (as berlios disappeared) and I could not find a new place upstream moved to. Appearantly, there was a newer upstream version than that in Debian, according to #587082 and this version might be lost. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. It is currently RC buggy with those two bugs: #965747 [S|⛺| ] [src:netsend] netsend: Removal of obsolete debhelper compat 5 and 6 in bookworm #999046 [S| | ] [src:netsend] netsend: missing required debian/rules targets build-arch and/or build-indep I therefore propose to RM the package. If you disagree, just close this bug, but please show the package some love. Especially, it is in need of an human maintainer (refering to Policy 5.6.3) If you agree, reassign the bug to ftp.debian.org If there is no answer, I will reassing the bug in exactly 3 months to ftp.debian.org to make the RM happen. -- tobi
