bootlogd fails with the following message: bootlogd: cannot find console device 136:4 in /dev I verified and /dev/console is present: crw------- 1 root root 5, 1 2006-07-02 18:27 /dev/console ttyzf is also present: crw-rw-rw- 1 root tty 3, 175 2006-07-02 18:25 /dev/ttyzf Following the bootlogd manpage, it says that if the console type is not known to bootlogd, it fails.
