Rebuilding containerd with golang-gogottrpc/1.1.0-1, then install it.
Now we get:
$ sudo ctr run --rm -t docker.io/library/alpine:latest test1

Forgot to close this is the just uploaded new revisien of the package
which drops the backported patches from upstream which apparently
containerd, et.al aren't yet ready to handle.
This also reopens #975431
