Upgrading to a new upstream version should do the trick (Symfony 5 has been released two years ago). Symfony 5 (5.4, the upcoming LTS) will a priori be the version in Bookworm, the next LTS (6.4) is expected in two years from now, so probably well after the freeze starts (and hopefully the Bookworm release). Thanks in advance for fixing this issue, do not hesitate to ask for help on pkg-php-p...@lists.alioth.debian.org if needed. Regards David
