The issue reported in 1.7.7-1.1 has been taken care of in a few iterations,
at 1.7.7-5 the package builds and tests fine:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=tiledb
We will continue to monitor this after we upgrade the sources from the circa
20 months old release 1.7.7 to the current 2.5.3 or later.
