Package: evolution-exchange
Version: 2.6.2-2
Severity: important
I have evolution set up to talk to an exchange server at work. This
used to work but with the current version of exchange-storage it is
unusable.
>From the evolution GUI, opening the mailbox on the exchange server shows
the "Loading..." message.
Meanwhile the evolution-exchange-storage process appears to be searching
through all the public folders on the exchange server. I did not know if
this was a one time thing where once it had searched through them all it
would cache the result but I left it running over the weekend anyway.
When I arrived on Monday the evolution-exchange-storage process was
using 2.5Gb of virtual memory! The evolution GUI was still waiting
displaying the "Loading..." message.
I did check in the mailbox properties to see if there is an option to
disable the searching of public folders but I could not find any such
option.
I don't know if this works correctly with an exchange server with fewer
folders on but clearly it isn't something I can use at the moment.
