Package: libtest-xml-simple-perl
Version: 1.05-2
Severity: serious
Tags: ftbfs sid bookworm
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512

As first seen on ci.debian.net, this package has a test failure which
also happens at build time:

# Failed test 'bad XML'
# at t/03valid.t line 48.
# STDOUT is:
# > not ok 1 - :2: parser error : Premature end of data in tag nomatch line 1
# #
# # ^
# not:
# > not ok 1 - :2: parser error : EndTag: '</' not found
# #
# # ^
# as expected
t/03valid.t .......
1..6
ok 1 - undef
ok 2 - non-XML string
ok 3 - good xml
not ok 4 - bad XML
ok 5 - good xml doc object
ok 6 - not xml doc object
Failed 1/6 subtests

This is a bit suprising as we have debian/patches/bug-952180.patch
which fixes the same test (#952180), and now the issue has (almost)
reappeared the other way round although I see no obvious changes (no
uploads of neither libtest-xml-simple-perl nor libxml-libxml-perl).

Cheers,
gregor
