Package: vim-syntastic Version: 3.10.0-2 Severity: serious Hello,
the upgrade instructions for bullseye say: * Before upgrading, run "vam remove <addon>" for any addon in this package that has been installed with "vam install <addon>". Adjust the command as necessary for system-wide installed addon. * After upgrading, add "packadd! <addon>" to your vimrc for any addon that you want to use. The addon name can be found in the package description or the list of directories under /usr/share/vim-scripts. However, when I add `packadd! syntastic` in .vimrc, I get this error: E919: Directory not found in 'packpath': "pack/*/opt/syntastic" Using packadd! on, say, nerd-commenter (distributed by vim-scripts) works fine. It looks like vim-syntastic missed the update that vim-scripts had. /usr/share/doc/vim-syntastic/README.Debian doesn't mention anything relevant (and there's a typo where it says "pathogen" instead of "syntastic"). Unfortunately I don't know anything about vim plugin packaging and I can't be much of use, besides reporting the issue :( Enrico -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.0 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-0.bpo.7-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_IE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_IE:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages vim-syntastic depends on: ii vim 2:8.2.2434-3 ii vim-addon-manager 0.5.10 vim-syntastic recommends no packages.
