I fixed the copyright file as in the attached patch, remembering some
"guidelines" as of [1] and the thread starting at [2].
For the Debian maintainers, I walked back the changelog.Debian.gz.
For the copyright holder, I parsed the output of:
$ apt-get source libnss-ldap
$ cd libnss-ldap-238
$ grep -r Copyright *
The patch has been prepared as an NMU and tested on a just-update sid
pbuilder, because I'm passing the T&S step as a new maintainer. The
command used is the following:
$ debdiff libnss-ldap_238-1.2.dsc \
/var/cache/pbuilder/result/libnss-ldap_238-1.3.dsc

It worked, at least in my case (and there's even a new version):
