i just downgraded the severity from "grave" to "important".

there's also no data loss or security hole involved. so i don't think that the bug warrants a severity "grave".otoh, no sound might indeed have "a major effect on the usability", yet doesn't "render[ing] it completely unusable to everyone" (e.g. to those who don't need sound).
also, per debian-policy ยง7.2, the dependency should be a "Recommends"
rather than a "Depends":
