i just downgraded the severity from "grave" to "important".

```
grave
makes the package in question unusable or mostly so, or causes data loss, or introduces a security hole allowing access to the accounts of users who use the package.
important
a bug which has a major effect on the usability of a package, without rendering it completely unusable to everyone.
```

the missing plugins do *not* make the package unusable, it just won't output sound.
there's also no data loss or security hole involved.
so i don't think that the bug warrants a severity "grave".

otoh, no sound might indeed have "a major effect on the usability", yet doesn't "render[ing] it completely unusable to everyone" (e.g. to those who don't need sound).

also, per debian-policy ยง7.2, the dependency should be a "Recommends" rather than a "Depends":

```
Recommends
    This declares a strong, but not absolute, dependency.
The Recommends field should list packages that would be found together with this one in all but unusual installations.
```
