So running duperemove for the first run.
duperemove -r -A -h --skip-zeroes --hashfile=/var/cache/duperemove-home-user
/home/user/
At the end this happened.

the folder is not full

I also believe that you just ran out of the disk/tmpfs space. I see
you've opened upstream bug

I will be watching it and if there will be indeed an issue in the code
and subsequent fix I'll package new version.
