For the moment it is not clear yet why this fix does not work for armhf, i386 and mips64el but other architectures are building nicely. We will keep on investigating this issue but it would be important to let r-cran-rstanarm migrate to testing to let a whole bunch of other R package migrate as well. So please remove r-cran-rstanarm for the said architectures from unstable. Thanks a lot for your ftpmaster work Andreas.
