I put the three files explicitly created for this hardware, picked here http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/buster/main/installer-armel/20190702/images/kirkwood/network-console/buffalo/ls-xhl/ . The normal behavior with this installer is to boot on the disk, the hardware detects well the kernel and his initrd, the installer boot process stop and restart immediately the disk (Not a good thing in my mind, it's stress the disk a little bit but it's only one time during the boot process). Then the installer start on ssh and I can install the Debian 10 in a good way. At the end the Debian 10 system is installed and the reboot is working like a charm, always 1 time disk start/stop at boot, but after that, no problem a all, the system is working and stable. For the installer published in testing or daily-image picked here http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/testing/main/installer-armel/current/images/kirkwood/network-console/buffalo/ls-xhl/ , The boot process begin well, the hardware detect well the kernel and his initrd, make a stop/start of the disk (like above). After that the ssh connection is possible but the disk make many many stop/start operations. The installer seems to continue but during the base installation, it's hangs due to disks problems due to inopportune disk start/stop. This problem is not a disk-specific problem, I'd tried this on 2 other disks which are differrents brands and models and it make the same bug. Keep it up guys, you make a very gigantic work.
