Package: apticron Version: 1.1.15 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
apticron correctly generates the list of packages to be upgraded, but the changelog entries are missing in its mail message. Instead, the mail ends with -----snip-----snap----------snip-----snap----------snip-----snap----- Package Details: Usage: apt-listchanges [options] {--apt | filename.deb ...} -----snip-----snap----------snip-----snap----------snip-----snap----- Looking into this, I assume line 90 if [ `ls ${PKGPATH}${PKG}_${VERFILE}_*.deb >& /dev/null` ] ; then to be the source of the problem. I suppose the intention is to filter out packages which couldn't be found in the local file system. But ls returns 0 on success and values greater than 0 on error, so this condition should perhaps rather be if [ ! `ls ${PKGPATH}${PKG}_${VERFILE}_*.deb >& /dev/null` ] ; then which works on my system.
