Hello Ryan, I have seen your patch.
Please notice, that I don't want to maintain this package anymore. And because of better software nowadays (grub2) it should not get into next Debian Release. You should check 'popcon' where you see that only a handful of machines use this (old) software today. So I will orphan this package. And I will block it, so that it won't get into Debian Bullseye.
