I suppose this FTBFS is due to numba[1] instead of umap-learn. Hence, this would as well FTBFS.
It might be a better idea to close this bug and open a bug report against numba instead, so that umap-learn migrates to testing after the bug is fixed in numba, w/o having to close this bug manually.
