Package: xfce4-weather-plugin
Version: 0.4.9-3
Severity: normal

After the 2.10 glib upgrade, a xfce4-panel using xfce4-weather-plugin
will crash with something like:

*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x10507c80 ***

It's due to the new slice allocator in glib.
You can see:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2006/03/msg00941.html

A work around is to launch: G_SLICE=always-malloc xfce4-panel

until we fix xfce4-weather-plugin.

Version: 0.5-1

Both these bugs stem from the same cause that a new glib allocator
method showed up errors in the source.

These have been fixed with the 0.5-1 version which should be shortly
available on all architectures in unstable.

Thanks for the reports.

Simon.
