How utterly bizarre. The original report said this also happened for i386 and amd64 for Ubuntu, and for other packaging I build foma in parallel for all supported Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL, OpenSUSE, and macOS - and this parallel build fail has never happened. So I figured it was safe. But build log doesn't lie...I'll re-add the flag.
