Is there a chance to see an interim fix applied to the package until the new gmp upstream revision is released. (Like upload of the RC version with the SOVERSION fix applied.) This bug is open for a week, and we do not know how many dependent packages are really affected. (From my side there are three directly affected which need recompilation.)
