When I sponsor packages I am usually doing the -S at the start and won't touch the built source package afterwards - this is either being uploaded or rejected later. Something unrelated missing on your list: debdiff between previous and current binary packages. Both file differences and dependency differences are worth checking. > We are in a local sprint.
