I've been quiet on this important package for a little while and ought to give an update, if nothing else to assure I've not bailed :). Recently I've been taking time to get acquainted with the tools, like gbp and friends, for a Git-only workflow seeing as upstream hasn't been making any formal releases. That need not be a blocker but I took up this opportunity. I'm now suitably comfortable to start fruitfully hacking and hope to have a candidate for a new upload in a week or two. Oleksij, thank you for your maintainership up-and-downstream, and thereby accommodating a dire need in free software.
