Package: libasound2
Version: 1.0.11-5
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi all,

Since today, after an apt-get dist-upgrade on my Debian Unstable installation,
all of my applications are unable to play sounds.

Here is a simple example with aplay :
$ aplay cuac.wav
Playing WAVE 'cuac.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 11025 Hz, Mono
aplay: relocation error: aplay: symbol snd_pcm_hw_params_set_rate_near, version
ALSA_0.9.0rc4 not defined in file libasound.so.2 with link time reference

Kaffeine crashes when they use alsa as output.

Good luck ;)
