Package: libasound2 Version: 1.0.11-5 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi all, Since today, after an apt-get dist-upgrade on my Debian Unstable installation, all of my applications are unable to play sounds. Here is a simple example with aplay : $ aplay cuac.wav Playing WAVE 'cuac.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 11025 Hz, Mono aplay: relocation error: aplay: symbol snd_pcm_hw_params_set_rate_near, version ALSA_0.9.0rc4 not defined in file libasound.so.2 with link time reference Kaffeine crashes when they use alsa as output. Good luck ;) KnuX -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-noinitrd Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages libasound2 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries libasound2 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
