Package: gummi
Version: 0.7.999-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I am the upstream developer for gummi. After a long hiatus I have in recent
months resumed development. Among other things Gummi was migrated to GTK3 [1].
Because of the numerous changes involved with this process, Debian maintainer
Hugo Lefeuvre was kind enough to package a development build for Debian's
unstable repository.
Unfortunately this 0.7.999 build contains some critical problems, and as such
I request for the package to be bumped to stable release 0.8.1 found on the
official github [2].
Thanks in advance and with kind regards,
alexandervdm
