I now found out that the change that affects ariba was done in fermi-lite 0.1-8 and reverted this very change in 0.1-10. This might affect portability but I think its a sensible tradeof to make sure we get ariba working again on the important architectures. So in principle we could close bug #951944 and give the package back for rebuilding. However, this does not help much for testing migration ... > However, despite the build-time tests are running there are issues in > autopkgtest. ... since the autopkgtest remains broken. So we could rather try to approach a new upload with fixed test which would trigger a new (now hopefully successful test.) I do not really have any clue how to fix the test issue but I'm experimenting with some higher verbosity currently. Kind regards Andreas. -- http://fam-tille.de
