Package: ntp-server Followup-For: Bug #365950
The problem with creation of ntp user before ntp-server script is executed still exists. Is anyone working on it? I see that the first report of this bug is quite old. I encountered this problem today, I cannot install ntp-simple because when startup script from ntp-server is executed, the ntp user doesn't exist yet. Right now only manual modification of the /etc/passwd file solves the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-em64t-p4-smp Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
