Package: initscripts
Version: 2.86.ds1-14
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hello,

this problem prevents the package from being installed, thus preventing
the installation of udev and, as a consequence, newer kernels (eg.
2.6.16), too:

# /usr/bin/dpkg -i  /var/cache/apt/archives/initscripts_2.86.ds1-14_i386.deb
(Reading database ... 237881 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking initscripts (from .../initscripts_2.86.ds1-14_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/initscripts_2.86.ds1-14_i386.deb
(--install):
 trying to overwrite `/sbin/fsck.nfs', which is also in package sysvinit
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/initscripts_2.86.ds1-14_i386.deb

Best,
--Toni++
