Hi Stephen, I hope you followed the instructions in /usr/share/doc/network-manager/NEWS.Debian.gz and /usr/share/doc/network-manager/README.Debian. The way which devices are handled by NM have changed between 0.6.2-1 and 0.6.2-2 (as outlined in NEWS.Debian.gz). (I'd recommmend to install apt-listchanges, so you will never miss important changes again) Just remove the devices from /etc/network/interfaces and try again (restart NM, /etc/dbus-1/event.d/25NetworkManager restart). If that does not help, please send me your /etc/network/interfaces file and the output from running "NetworkManager --no-daemon".
