Hey Andreas, upstream is porting this application to python3 at https://gitlab.com/pyspread/pyspread and they just released an alpha version for it. Since pyspread is no longer in testing, then maybe you can consider package this version for unstable? this will unlock several python2 modules pyspread depends on.
