Yes I can connect to "other" networks, but it's not easy not to be able to connect: at home, at work, at my town's free wifi, just to give some examples. In two of the three cases, I have no power to do anything.

If there is anything I can do to help, I am more than willing to try it.

The issue has been here for almost a month.

Matteo, while I share your frustration, this is an important, not grave bug, since you arguably can connect to other networks. Please try and get logs, preferably with debug switched on.
