As far as I can see, this issue is fixed in 9.28~~rc3 by the following commit: http://git.ghostscript.com/?p=ghostpdl.git;a=commitdiff;h=0350a0ab56e7b180d62af9423313d6c70345b386 I'm not sure, why upstream doesn't mention this in their bugzilla...
