Hello Andree, Could you retry with the "official" amd64 package from ftp.debian.org ? The "official" package depends on libparted1.6-13 so this problem should not happen. > When building the gparted package, I get: > > dh_shlibdeps > dpkg-shlibdeps -Tdebian/gparted.substvars > debian/gparted/usr/bin/gparted-bin > dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: could not find any packages for > /usr/lib/libparted-1.6.so.13 (libparted-1.6.so.13) > dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: unable to find dependency information for > shared library libparted-1.6 (soname 13, path > /usr/lib/libparted-1.6.so.13, dependency field Depends) The gparted amd64 buildlog <http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=gparted&ver=0.0.9-1&arch=amd64&stamp=1143859767&file=log&as=raw> does not show such warning. > So, it looks like dh_shlibdeps lloks for the the libparted library in > /usr/lib but the package has it in /lib. However the current official amd64 libparted1.6-13 package carry a correct shlibs file so it seems this issue has been dealt with.
